- Mandatory quarantine for returned overseas travellers
- Mandatory quarantine for passenger and freight aircrew
- Emergency accommodation for people that cannot safely isolate or quarantine in their own accommodation
- Frontline worker accommodation for eligible workers who need support to self-isolate or quarantine or require accommodation on compassionate grounds
- Australian Open quarantine program for all people travelling from overseas to participate in the Australian Open
Important information for former residents who received a blood-glucose finger-prick test while in quarantine accommodation before 20 August 2020
Residents who may have had their blood-glucose levels tested while in quarantine accommodation before 20 August 2020 are being contacted by Safer Care Victoria to undergo precautionary screening due to a potential risk of cross-contamination and infection.
Blood-glucose level testing devices intended for use by one person were used across multiple residents. This presents a clinical risk of cross-contamination and blood borne viruses (hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV).
If you believe or you are unsure if you had this test, please call 1800 356 061 (8am to 8pm, seven days a week).
There is no risk to current residents in COVID-19 Accommodation or those who were in quarantine from 20 August 2020.
Visit the Safer Care Victoria for more information.
