COVID-19 Booster Recharge

COVID is very much still with us and getting your booster dose remains the best way to boost your immunity to protect yourself and your loved ones against the virus and its variants.

Most Victorians had their last dose more than 6 months ago and now have significantly waned immunity.

Getting your booster dose is like recharging your phone when the battery is low. Now is a good time to recharge your immunity with a booster dose to prepare for winter.

The 2023 booster dose is available to everyone aged 18 and above and we recommend you get it, especially if you're over 65 or if you are over 18 with a disability or complex medical condition that increases your chance of falling very sick with COVID.

You could get your 2023 dose now if your last dose or your last COVID-19 infection was six or more months ago.

There are new bivalent COVID-19 vaccines available that can provide better protection against the evolving Omicron variants.

So please go ahead and book an appointment to get your next dose at your local pharmacy or GP.
