Coronavirus (COVID-19) Medical Equipment and PPE Supplier Directories
To assist your business in sourcing the supplies it needs, the Victorian Government has developed a series of directories to help identify suitable suppliers of locally manufactured products.
The directories cover products which have been more difficult to source during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic due to increases in demand for medical equipment and PPE.

Commonwealth Government PPE Buyers Guide
The Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISER) COVID Response Taskforce has developed a PPE Buyers Guide to assist organisations when purchasing PPE for COVID-19.
The guide has been designed to address the uncertainty which has been seen from consumers when buying PPE and build their confidence to purchase PPE from local suppliers.
The four-page guide covers key information consumers need to know when purchasing PPE, including:
- Information on how PPE is regulated
- Information on common types of PPE and how they are used
- Tips to avoid fraud
- Information on consumer rights
- Information on WHS duties
Register as a local manufacturer of medical supplies and PPE
Register your manufacturing business to help increase Victoria's supply of medical equipment and PPE in response to coronavirus (COVID-19).
Sourcing face masks for your business
There is currently ample supply of face masks in Victoria for businesses and community members to access through retail and wholesale channels. But if your business has not been able to source face masks for use in the workplace through normal retail and wholesale channels help is at hand.
The Business Access to Masks Service (BAMS) is a new initiative between the Victorian Government and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
How does the Business Access to Masks Service work?
If you have an urgent requirement for face masks and cannot source them from your regular suppliers, you may be able to purchase from a limited supply of masks the Victorian Government has set aside for industry to purchase.
The Victorian Government has partnered with Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to distribute these masks to businesses struggling to find supply. To enquire about the Business Access to Masks Service please call the Business Victoria hotline on 13 22 15.
Your Business Victoria representative will refer you to VCCI to purchase masks from the Victorian Government’s supply. Eligibility criteria and purchasing limits apply.
