GP Respiratory ClinicsExternal Link are available to help Victorians with respiratory illnesses.

They are free to use and designed to help ease the pressure on our hospital emergency departments.

Services provided

GP Respiratory Clinics are available to care for anyone who is unwell with mild cold or flu symptoms (such as coughing, runny nose, fever) or other symptoms linked to COVID-19 (such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea).

Face-to-face and telehealth appointments are available. Some GP Respiratory Clinics are open at night and on weekends.

Clinics are staffed by general practitioners (GPs) and nurses.

They are free for everyone (babies, children and adults), with or without a Medicare card.

Early treatment medicines are now available for eligible Victorians who have COVID-19 to prevent them from getting sick and needing hospital care. To see if you may be eligible and for more information, visit COVID-19 medicines.
