Register your public event

All public event organisers must register their events with the Victorian Government to ensure coronavirus safety for attendees, staff and organisers.

Tier 1 and Tier 2 public events (such as events with an attendance of more than 1000 individuals) are required to submit a COVIDSafe Event Plan for review by the Victorian Government. This COVIDSafe Event Plan must be approved for your event to go ahead.

Tier 3 events do not need to have their event plans reviewed by the Victorian Government. However, you must complete and upload a COVIDSafe event checklist and declaration at least a week prior to the start of your event.
